Days 6/7 (11/21 & 11/22) 1 pack ProBiotic Restore(tm) Ultra (2 small pills) and 1 pack Herbal Cleanse Dietary Supplement (3 horsepills)
Nothing very eventful happened on these two days. I got up, went to work, came hom on 11/21, and 11/22 I was a bum and played WoW and watched Psych. The herbal cleanse pills I was taking at night were pretty irritating, to be completely honest. I would have to drink a ton of water juts to get them down, and then spend the next hour or 2 getting up every 10 minutes to pee. Totally killer to my already poor sleep cycles.
Day 8 (11/23) 1 pack ProBiotic Restore(tm) Ultra (2 small pills) and Fiber Drink
The fiber drinks begin again for the next couple days until I completely finish the cleanse program on Thursday, which is Thanksgiving. I was barely able to finish the drink concoction before running out the door for my weekly personal trainer session. Not that it tasted bad, but I have to get up early for my personal trainer sessions, and the altered version I make of the fiber drink takes a while to finish because of the sheer volume it produces. I managed to squeak in on time and went straight to working out with a system she brought in from home called TRX. I hurt. A lot. It's a good hurt though, and I'm sure it'll pass.
My husband has agreed to drive me down to San Marcos today to go to the Under Armour outlet. :) Hopefully I can get some excellent discounts, and maybe a different pair of shoes to do my cardio in. I love my adidas, but I think I may need more support to keep my calves/shins from hurting as much as they have lately.
I'm considering moving this blog over to wordpress. Any thoughts as to if that is a good idea?

Herbal Cleanse - Day 5
1 pack ProBiotic Restore(tm) Ultra (2 small pills) and 1 pack Herbal Cleanse Dietary Supplement (3 horsepills)
Feelin pretty crappy today. Went to bed far later than I would have liked, which resulted in my waking groggy and staying in bed longer than I wanted to as well. The lack of caffiene (and my shins hurting) put me on the bike for 20 minutes last night instead of the treadmill. I think maybe my calves/shins need a break. Tonight will be my last workout for the week, and it's going to be circuits. Here's to hoping my muscles can hold out. :)
Todays menu!
Before work meal: Chicken and rice
'Lunch': Soup
Snacks: Cashews, strawberries/peaches, apple (as needed)
'Dinner': Probably the last chicken bertolli meal we have.
Making that soup a few days ago is pretty much the best decision I've made with this whole cleanse thing because I don't really have to worry about what to eat every day, it's really easy, AND I don't get sick of it. If you're interested in the 'recipe' just let me know. :)

Advocare Herbal Cleanse - Day 4
1 pack ProBiotic Restore(tm) Ultra (2 small pills) and 1 pack Herbal Cleanse Dietary Supplement (3 horsepills)
I'm quite pleased that I don't have to start the day with finding ways to make the Fiber Drink tolerable or even tasty. What -does- kind of suck about the probiotic pills is that I can't eat until 30 minutes after I take them. I made it though, and am now consuming a delicious apple.
Todays menu!
Now: Apple
Before work meal: salmon and rice
'Lunch': Soup
Snacks: Cashews, banana, apple (as needed)
'Dinner': Probably cereal or a bertolli meal, will be determined by my post-workout hunger.
Tonights workout: CARDIO. I will finally be trying 'week 2' of my "day 1 to 5k" podcasts that are intended to help condition/train you to run a 5k :D.
Something Valerie mentioned a few weeks ago when I thought I may be getting shin splints on my left leg is that it may be related to my shoes. This is -really depressing- to me, because I really like my shoes that I workout in. I may break down and make a run to the sporting goods store that's up the road, but I don't really want to buy new shoes. :(
Since beginning the cleanse, my workouts seem to have gotten more difficult and taking more out of me. I feel as though this may be related to the heavy diet change and lack of any caffiene whatsoever. Hopefully the weakness passes.
As a side note, I'm pretty pleased at having made blog posts 2 days in a row, go me!

Operation: Fabulous Body | Advocare Herbal Cleanse - Days 1-3
So I figured I should probably update this silly thing I created who knows how long ago.
In the last month I have been seeing a Personal Trainer to assist me with losing weight and becoming overall healthier and happier with myself. She suggested to me last week that I attempt a "24-day Challenge" that consists of a 10-day Cleanse, and then a 14 day regiment of additional supplements. Hopefully this will help me attain my current short term goal of losing a pant size by the middle of December. I hope to go from a size 14 to a size 12, which I have been told at my current rate of progress is completely attainable.
Day 1: Fiber Drink (citrus flavor) and 1 pack Herbal Cleanse Dietary Supplement (3 horsepills)
On 11/16, after my regularly scheduled session with my personal trainer, she e-mailed me saying that I could start the cleanse that night by taking the fiber drink and the cleanse supplement at the same time before going to bed. After confirming that this wouldn't cause any issues with the fairly strict diet I would need to have, I went ahead and tried it. This is the day that I tried the fiber drink just as suggested, with 1 cup of water. It smells awful. I mean REALLY awful. It became so thick that I couldn't drink it through a straw as I had intended to do. :( I added a bit of the crystal light I was drinking to help thin it out, but it was very difficult to finish. I went to bed fairly early after finishing up the drink of horror and taking my pills, around 5:30am.
Day 2: Fiber Drink (citrus flavor) and 1 pack Herbal Cleanse Dietary Supplement (3 horsepills)
11/17. Round 2 of attempting the Fiber Drink. As Valerie (Personal Trainer) had suggested the day before, I tried mixing a serving of SPARK (an energy drink that comes with the challenge) with the serving of Fiber Drink. SPARK tastes just fine (fruit punch flavor), but it too smells pretty bad. So now I had 2 cups of bad smelling thing to drink, though luckily it tasted a little better and was thinner. Unfortunately, the smell and texture still made me feel as though I would gag a little, and took me over an hour to finish the drink. I attempted to offset the texture and smell by eating an apple (granny smith) in between trying to force the liquid down my throat.
Before work meal and lunch: I cooked up a batch of what we called 'tortilla soup', which is basically shitloads of veggies in tomato soup and chicken stock, with some cubes of chicken breast added. I managed to screw this up pretty well though, and possibly one of my cast iron pots because I had the incorrect burner on. :( This left the veggies not getting -as- cooked as I liked, and us almost being late to work. The good thing about this soup is that it contains everything I'm allowed to have on the cleanse. :) Luckily, it still tasted just fine and made an excellent 2 meals!
Post shift workout: Cardio with the treadmill. 30 minutes of alternating a fast paced walk and a slow paced jog. I did more walking than jogging as I was not feeling so well, and my left leg decided it wanted to try and have shin splints again.
Dinner: Bertolli meal for 2 - Shrimp/Penne
Day 3: Fiber Drink (citrus flavor) and 1 pack Herbal Cleanse Dietary Supplement (3 horsepills)
11/18. As I'm writing this, I'm getting down the fiber drink. I've finally put it in a form that I can handle, but it will take a while to drink it all. I combined 1c orange juice, 1c water, fiber drink packet, SPARK packet, and 1 cup of strawberries and blended it together. After it seemed meshed together well enough, I added a scoop of ice to cool it down. Adding the strawberries and oj seems to have cancelled out the bad smell, and the awful texture. Today is also the last day for the fiber drink for a few days, so I'm pretty pleased about that. ;)
Before work meal: Salmon and rice. The salmon is currently defrosting, I'm sure it will be tasty.
Lunch: I'll be having another bowl of soup, as I only know how to make it for 10-12 people, and not just 2 >.>
Post shift workout: Circuit night. I will likely repeat the circuit that I did on Tuesday with Valerie, and add in a couple core exercises.
Dinner: Undetermined. Possibly a bowl of cereal.
Now that I've got this started, I'll attempt to keep updating throughout the cleanse and continue on through the rest of the challenge. I hope this recount of events was enjoyable. :)

Stress.
Today's events at the office have made me further realize something about myself.
I'm incredibly stressed out. I've become more worried about people not deserving the recognition they receive than I probably should be. I'm more worried about my own future and performance, and that worry may be taking a toll on my attitude and positivity around the office, and at home.
I worry about my upcoming wedding.
I worry about picking a dress for that wedding.
I worry about losing weight that I've needed to for years.
I worry about my back problems, and the cost of treatment to fix them.
I worry about having friends at all, much less very many of them.
I feel like I need a break, but I'm doing my best to not take any vacation days or time off unless absolutely necessary in order to have enough time saved up to have my honeymoon time off available.
I feel like I need another hobby, or more active hobbies, but that there's not enough time in the day/week. Or I worry about not having enough money to support them.
But, I think in the end everything will turn out okay. I think I may make my day off next Wednesday a trip to a spa for a massage, or something comforting. Maybe just spend the day outside and take pictures.
I am really excited about work on Friday though! We're making shirts for our team(s) and I get to do super-bright green makeup on myself and hopefully other girls on the team, if they want to participate! Our supervisor is really into the Green Lantern, so it's kinda modeled after that. ;)

3 Day Weekend of Productivity
The title pretty much says it all! This week Jon and I took Sunday off, which for our work schedule is 'Friday' to go to the Austin Bridal Extravaganza at the Palmer Convention Center. Needless to say, we got a TON of information, maybe even more than we wanted for some things, and a lot of free cake and food.
I think we're well on our way to being quite ahead of the game for our wedding planning, which I'm quite happy about. I really don't want to get down to the last few months and feel like I have no time for anything other than the details of this thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited and more than ready to -be- married, but the ordeal of planning the wedding itself is a little daunting at times, especially when I don't really live near my mom, or any of my side of the wedding party. So I'm doing a lot on my own, or with Jonathan. But I do feel that we were quite productive with our time at the convention, so we're both very happy about that. A few things we got set up while we were there are tux rentals, a 'wine tasting at home' thing, a few wedding shops (one in particular that lets you RENT wedding dresses! That's awesome!), prop-like rentals, live music (String quartet or guitarist, we haven't decided), florist, and probably the most interesting one was the chiropractic booth we went to.
They gave me a gift certificate for an appointment, which I had today which pretty well confirmed what I had always suspected, and that is how my back is pretty messed up. I go back tomorrow to view the x-ray they took and to possible have an 'adjustment'. I think this may end up working out for the better, as I don't really see how my back could really get that much worse than it already is.
Also, one of my favorite parts about the last couple days is the fact that I've gotten to play more with the new makeup I've gotten within the last week. I made a Sephora trip last Tuesday and ordered a couple things from Coastal Scents that arrived on Friday, but I wasn't able to get it from my apartment office until Saturday. I was pretty sad though, when I opened one of the palettes I ordered from CS, one of the blushes was crumbled and busted! ;_; I sent them off an e-mail and I got one back this afternoon and they're sending me a replacement! Yay Coastal Scents! I love you guys! A few things I've realized from my latest order (26 shadow/blush palette, truffle(brown) gel liner, and 6 blush/contour palette(this was the busted one) ) is that for me, brown eyeliner > black. I know, it's a shocking thing when black seems to be the major standard, but it always looks a little to stark for me, and it's really easy for me to screw it up. Also, I realized the main reason I never messed with blush before - I kinda suck at it! But hopefully I can learn and not just make my cheeks look.. redder than they do anyway. My Sephora trip was mostly for replacing my face primer that the pump busted on, and picking up a different type of concealer and eyeshadow primer, all of which I've been extremely pleased with so far. Oh! I also picked up some MAC makeup remover wipes (I'd been using some from Wal-Mart and ran out), and they are SO much better than what I had been using!
Anyway.. I think that's enough rambling about all that for now. :-) Hope you all have a wonderful week!

First!
I decided to create this blog last week sometime while all of our tools were shutdown at work, and am just now getting around to posting. I suppose that doesn't seem like a good sign for the future of this thing, but we'll wing it and see what happens shall we?
I suppose if you're reading this you may want to know something about me, or if you already know me you can just skip this little blurb of a paragraph. My name is Page, and I got bored and decided to try this whole blogging thing. That's it.
No really.
I'll probably reveal more during the course of this thing, but I'm really not a huge fan of 'this is who I am, k?' So all you get for now is my name. ^_^
What is this blog supposed to be about anyway? - Well, I'll probably just post my random ramblings (similar to now) about various things I do throughout the day/week/month/whenever I feel like posting. This could include makeup topics, my kitties (Chamois and Ozzy <3), my fiance (Jonathan!), video games, music, and anime/tv/movies. Nothing particularly special. :)
I think that's all for now, maybe more tomorrow! :D
